Job Description:
As a crucial team member within AKK Private Ltd in the role of Print Manager, you will play a vital part in the upkeep and enhancement of our printing department, which is central to our in-house printing and e-commerce activities. Your duties will span a variety of tasks, including the supervision of our printing machinery and the administration of software tools such as Linnworks. Key Responsibilities:
• Take charge of the maintenance and supervision of our Roland Digital Printers and heat press machines, ensuring their optimal functioning to achieve top-notch production quality.
• Ensure quality printing and the full production process efficiently and effectively by leading and developing production team members while working closely with sale/office team
• Maintain an efficient production schedule while focused on quality and details.
• Swiftly diagnose and rectify technical glitches with printing equipment to minimize downtimes and keep production on track.
• Ensure the team execute regular equipment maintenance, manage stock of inks, maintain a clean production area
• Supervise further training and development of members of staff. Set up, print and break down orders.
• Help count shirts, fold and prepare shirts for printing, aid in the screen reclaiming process, or perform any other general task that may be need to support the business. Print and examine proof copy and adjusts press as necessary
• Start or direct start of printing run and monitor machine to ensure that printing proceeds smoothly; pour colour into machine or directly on to screen and position screen over item.
• Operate squeegee by hand or machine to press colour through screen
• Produce, transfer and output digital print images; maintain, adjust, repair and clean machine; keep production records.
• Implement and enforce stringent quality control measures to guarantee the precision and uniformity of printed items, encompassing t-shirts, posters, and banners.
• Deliver training and assistance to staff in the operation of printing equipment and software systems, guaranteeing competence and adherence to best practices.


Our ideal candidate will:
• Understand the world of printing. This is an absolute requirement, as we are seeking an individual with a background in managing a production team involved in digital printing, large format printing, or garment screen printing with 2–3-year experience
• Demonstrate a strong focus on precision and diligence in all assignments.
• Display organizational skills and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
• Exhibit the ability to inspire and guide a small team in completing time-sensitive tasks and achieving impressive results.
• Maintain composure and excel in high-pressure situations.
